Experts agree that one of the best ways to introduce children to potty training concepts is through books. You can read your baby books about potty training at any time, even well before they’re old enough to use the toilet.

Books are a great way to drum up excitement about the potty, to show your little one just exactly what those toilets are used for, and that other kids use them too.

Check out this list of books of read aloud potty training books for toddlers, which includes both board books (sturdy and able to be wiped down!) and picture books (for older tots who won’t destroy the paper pages).

(While you’re at it, be sure to check out this comparison of the two most popular parenting books on potty training!)
